Just been shopping in my local Tesco's and came across this. It's a greetings card for your 'brother'. I have obviously seen motorsport related images used on birthday / greetings cards before, but look at this, it's some sort of hillclimb special, and doesn't look too modern either! Weird!

Anyone know what it is? BTW, apologies for the quality, had to use my phone to take the pic.

The track's a bit crowded for a hillclimb, isn't it Gary?

Maybe it was on the return downhill, a la Goodwood, after a run?

I got a birthday card once that was a painting of Damon Hill winning the 1994 Japanese Grand Prix in the wet. It was from my grandmother, and she lives in Arizona

The big Alfa logo on it suggests Formula Boxer to me...?

Although it does seem to have SCCA written on the nose - a special for "Solo" (sprinting) perhaps?

No idea what it is, but what an absolutely c..p choice of image for your "brother". Surely the poor lad deserves better.

I spotted the Alfa badge, but no idea. Cute though, isn't it?

I have a few for this thread...but where are they?

As the advert might say, probably the best Christmas card in the world. No, I wasn't around in 1938 to receive this. I found it at a local postcard sale.

The card was sent by Cyril S Watkinson of "the Autocar". The drawing is by "Haworth".

Sorry, Going a bit off track here as not strange (in my opinion) or a photo. But here are a couple of Sprite related Christmas cards

Certainly NOT a hillclimb car; as pointed out by others there are a lot of cars in the background and it has an Alfa Romeo badge on it both of which mitigate against it being a hillclimb car. However most importantly there is NO Burt Strut.
