Hello,

here are some photos from Iritani’s latest kit, the BRM P160E in scale 1/20th. The Iritani kit includes a lot parts made of resin, metall, plastic and rubber. The instruction manual (20 pages) is very detailed, there are a lot of decals for Lauda, Regazzoni and Beltoise during the 1973 season.
Detailed reference photos from the original are welcome.

Ahhh... yes! And here was me, thinking: "Who the freezin' hell's Iritani, I thought Beltoise was the third BRM hombre!"

In the past years South-America brought us new brands of model car makes, especially in 1/24th scale. Next to Iritani, brands like AMD (now defunct), ACE models and Wolf Design have stepped up with often great choices of subjects. Unfortunately none has yet found time to develop a website.

As expected a lot of models with a Brazilian connection, but also they have done BRM justice too!

Whats great is they are doing kits of much loved but less popular cars.
Are they available in UK? I want a Stanley BRM, I saw it at Brands Race of Champs 1975 with Bob Evans driving it.

I have a friend (honest, I do) who's just made the Yardley car, so I'll ask him for you.

Hi

This is my Iritani 1/20th kit P201. The kit as supplied is a bit basic on the detail front. I have added all the wiring and changed upgraded most of the detail parts supplied in the kit. The kit can also be made as the Stanley version

The kit looks like a good jumping off point for adding a bit more detail, nice work Mick.

If you're interested - you can get these Iritani models direct from Luiz Iritani in Brazil. He will post them following payment and I have used the MoneyGram transfer system which cost me £5.99 transfer fees. Thomas Cook are MoneyGram agents.

I've bought from Iritani a few times now and been pleased both times.

Hi Mike

I paid US$ 255 for the BRM P160 (Siffert) and the Shadow DN5 (Pryce) This covered both kits and postage to the UK. MoneyGram cost extra. Just under £150 for two 1/20th kits. I didn't think that was too bad

That's good Mike  Buying 3 at Brazilian prices would only get you 2 in the UK

I'm happy with it. He's a really nice guy to deal with and the subjects that he does appeal to me. I'm just surprised that none of the main UK suppliers have him listed, I would have thought they would be popular?

Wow, this is exactly what I search to associate to Lauda's helmet !!! But I'd prefer a version already built
