PROVISIONAL RESULTS DUE TO PENALTIES & APPEALS
& I THOUGHT THIS SPORT WAS MOTOR racing

RESULT - HAMI/MASS/HEID

Another batch of good scoring this round with AcuraF1 scoring an excellent 5 points, from Estwald, barteks,Makarias,Apex & brunopascal all sharing the runners up spot on 4 points.
Bot players BERNIE & MAX scored very well this round with 4 for BERNIE & 5 for MAX, equalling the round winning score.

% OF PLAYERS WHO BEAT MAX = 0%

Makarias stretches the lead to 3 points from dank, with estoril85 a further point back. Defending champion THE HUMAN MAN moves ominously into 4th position but is 5 points off the lead, Makarias is still looking favourite at this stage to be the first double GTP champion but dank is still close behind with 5 rounds to go...

Podium positions will be considered those celebrated in the official podium ceremony. In case of official classification is altered BEFORE the next F1 race, we will change our results accordingly. If alteration happens AFTER the next F1 race it will not have any effect in our results.

*******due to Hamiltons penalty and McLarens subsequent appeal these results may change if the appeal is dismissed, and the stewards decision upheld.*******

So er, points are awarded based on the latest info regarding Hamilton being penalised up until Monza?

typical, the fastest i ever post the results & there is a penalty applied

Basically, the results I have posted are for the finishing order across the line.

As there has been a penalty applied the result will be as per the outcome of McLarens appeal (whenever that is!) as it ties in with the original penalty being within the games rules of the official classification being altered before the next race.


So -
If Mclaren win the appeal - the published results stand
If McLaren lose the appeal - the results will be recalculated to the amended result of - mass/heid/hami

The actual podium was Hamilton Massa Heidfeld. Thats set in stone. So that should be the result of this game regardless of appeals etc.

I agree that is the rule, I think that the penalty if enforced is harsh, but the games should really be based on what the FIA rule happened.

So regardless of me having entered the game with open eyes, I will stop posting in those which award points contrary to what the FIA decide.

Which does mean I am currently in limbo with the Guess the Result, as those points may or may not be correct. And I will see what ends happening here.

Makes little sense to me that we are filling thread after thread with comments on following the rules, rules breakers and how the WDC and WCC should be done correctly, then have games awarding points for NOT being correct.

Guess I should read the rules better next season before I join games.
