the sooner he leaves Formula One the better, give a real racer a change!

I think he has, this is his rookie year in F1 and the transition has not been easy but I think he has shown he has a good head on his shoulders and is refreshingly open and honest. The way he admitted to his problems with the new car this year, what he lacks and how he will get there was very refreshing.

I think he drove brilliantly at Spa, he really deserved that podium and in the light of Vettels amazing victory at Monza it is easy to forget Bourdais' drive at Spa and his qualifying at Monza where he could have made two STR on the podium. He's gotten the bad end of the stick with bad luck like at Monza. Only one season in F1 would seem too little too late, I think he deserves a chance to show what he can do with a year in F1 with the team under his belt.

Put him and Sato in the STR next year. Let Buemi be t he Red Bull/STR testdriver.

I think he's cursed to be racing for Gerhard Berger who has shown himself to be a ruthless Austrian in the same mold as Helmet Marko and Niki Lauda, when he was the boss of Jaguar racing. They're cold hearted, as they've raced before. I think Berger should remember that his own career has some pretty depressing lows, like being blown away by Ayrton Senna, and his crashfest Ferrari season in 1993. His final two Benetton years were pretty awful too.

Bourdais needs another season. Lets not forget he is a rookie.

I really hope Bourdais has done enough to keep his seat, he's got the skills just needs the time to fully adapt. Next year with slicks should play right into his hands.

I hope to see him have another year. "Justification" can take on so many factors well beyond what any of us know, but on gut instict I'd like to see him have another year...although he would clearly have to have some "luckier" results next year to still be involved in 2010.

Because he said so in the interview.

Moreover, he raced on slicks in Champ Cars & slicks give you much more mechanical grip thus it's easier to enforce the car to your liking and not the opposite.

I agree that SeaBass should stay another season. Give him time to shine. He can certainly deliver the goods as he has shown in F3, F3000 & Champ Car.
