THE RULES:
It consists in guessing the three firsts (podium positions) in F1 races. You do an ordered guess (i.e. Raik-Hami-Alon) and a score is given according to real podium results. The scoring system is as explained here:
Suppose you do the guess raik-hami-alon
If Raik is 1st, 3 points
if Raik is 2nd, 2 points
if Raik is 3rd, 1 point
If Hami is 1st, 2 points
if Hami is 2nd, 2 points
if Hami is 3rd, 1 point
If Alon is 1st, 2nd or 3rd, 1 point
It another driver makes a podium position, it doesn't give any points.
The max score per round = 6 points
*** (SLIGHT) RULE CHANGES AS FOLLOWS ***
Slight changes to the rules for the 2008 season (just to bring the closing time for entries in line with the other games)
ALL GUESSES TO BE POSTED BY FIRST PRACTICE FRIDAY OF RACE WEEKEND (in keeping with the other games) LATE GUESSES WILL BE EXCLUDED FROM THE ROUND.
Podium positions will be considered those celebrated in the official podium ceremony. In case of official classification is altered BEFORE the next F1 race, we will change our results accordingly. If alteration happens AFTER the next F1 race it will not have any effect in our results.
Ties in general classification are resolved favouring who is "best" classified in the previous classification.
Our two intrepid 'Bot' players return BERNIE & MAX but with a slight change in that BERNIE now guesses the podium finishers from the last round and MAX remains the same, guessing the leading three drivers in the championship.
