Graham Hill drove Al Junker's Mercedes 300 SL-Coupè at the Nassau Grand Prix on Nov 27, 1960. He starteted from the back of the field as he had no practice time and finished 8th.
Perhaps has anyone got a photo of Graham in this Mercedes 300 SL. I guess this was his only start in a Mercedes?

Check this link. Are you sure Graham Hill was there?

Friends:

Checking the above web site for Nassau results, I see S. MacDunna's name listed. Stuart is still around (in eastern Pennsylvania) and still owns the same 300SL that he entered there; he says one S. Moss drove it.

Oh yes, I am sure. It is a funny story behind: Graham took part at the USA Grand Prix at Riverside on November 20, where he retired the BRM P48 in lap 35. After this race he went together with Stirling Moss to Nassau. Stirling had a contract with Rob Walker and Graham tried to get a cockpit. He got an offer from Al Juncker to drive his Mercedes 300 SL in the Nassau trophy race. Graham started from 29th and last spot as he had no practice time. He was already seventh, but was passed from Ulf Norinder (Porsche 718 RSK) in the last lap. Graham finished eight. Winner was Stirling Moss (Ferrari 250 SWB). Al Juncker did not drive his car himself: He lent it to Graham. But unfortunately I have never seen a photo of Graham in this Mercedes.

This was probably the Nassau Tourist Trophy from this webpage:

http://wsrp.ic.cz/nassau1960.html

A.E. Junker was listed in 8th place, but perhaps Graham Hill took over for him. Ulf Norinder was 7th, but although he raced an RSK around this time, he wouldn't have raced one in the TT.

See p. 173 on this webpage. What is on p. 174?

By the way, Brian Hill, Graham Hill's brother, will be at our next Canadian Motor Sport History group lunch this Thursday, in Burnaby, B.C.

Yes you are right: It was the Nassau Tourist Trophy. I guess Graham Hill had starting number 92 with the Mercedes 300 SL. Also confirmed in the "Graham Hill scrap book 1929-1966".
