Paraphrasing.... "They both paid around $500 per race." Unreal.

Sorry, does anyone have an update on Brian at the moment and if he is any closer to writing his book?
It was written several years ago, but wasn't very exciting, it needed a lot more work. Publishers asked for significant changes, and Brian didn't want to make them, constrained apparently by Mrs Redman, and last I heard, that's where things rest. It's really up to Brian whether it ever gets published or not, though I don't think he's blaming anyone else, apart from a certain ghostwriter, who upset him considerably by mucking about with his draft.

If the manuscript is in Word, it only takes a few minutes - and bobs your uncle.
I'm sure most nostalgia forum readers would quite happily buy it for less than a pound, as a prelude to the glossy coffee table one we hope gets done !!

I certainly would. He certainly has some stories to tell.

Talking to Brian at Goodwood last weekend, he tells me that he is once again attempting a book, this time from another angle that his family finds more acceptable and focusing upon "the danger years" to quote Brian. He tells me it should be available in March of next year.
