So we are here to kick the 2009 RC Bets & Games season off with a brand new game! This one is called Guess the Dakar and it will be a one round competition.

The rules are easy. (1) You will guess the first 10 places for every class (moto, quad, cars and trucks). (2) Your driver must finish in the top 10 in order to be awarded any points. And (3) Points will be distributed like 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 depending how precise your guess is (just as every other GtWhatever game ).

A sample entry is as follows:
Moto/1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8
Quad/1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8
Car/1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8
Truck/1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8

Please write the vehicle numbers instead of competitor names.

The deadline for entries is:
January 2nd, 23.59:59 (GMT-2, Buenos Aires time)
which is the same as below
January 3rd, 01.59:59 (GMT)

I suppose either noone cares for a GtDakar game or it's not logical to start one during the off-season. :

Anyway, I will calculate the "non-championship" results between me and Makarias, but i think there is no point in repeating another GtDakar attempt next year.

So both of us failed to guess the cars right, thanks to Mitsubishi's, Al Attiyah and Sainz. The rest was head to head but somehow I managed to guess better than good ol' Makarias.

Ironical that the car scores got so low, as one at least knows many names there. Filling in the Quads guess was total mayhem!
