In the 1932 24 hours a Citroen was entered for a Charles Wolf, sharing with Henri de la Sayette. Wolf is listed as British but the name is completely unfamiliar to me.
Web sources appear undecided on whether the car was the first retirement after 3 laps or a non starter.

Does anyone know more about Mr Wolf and his Citroen or even have photos?

The 1923 - 1992 Le Mans 2 volume tome has a picture of the car and lists the drivers as Henri de la Sayette and Charles Wolf. The car was apparently the second retirement - 3rd lap with magneto failure. First retirement was the Jean Trevoux Bentley on the opening lap. Wolf is listed in the index as being French.

That probably accounts for his name being unfamilar to me. The British Nationality must have been a typo.
