Young Formula Ford Sensation Wallly Willmott
Wally was having a great time seeing his fellow McLaren workers at the event and also got to drive this Formula Ford Begg. Wally said the event was very nicely done.
Howden Ganley got to drive the green and grey McLaren in the parades. The owner , Julian Bronson , was very kind to let him drive it at both Hampton Downs and Pukekohe.
The fellow in the black hat and white shirt next to John Muller is Ed Holly. Ed races a Brabham BT6 in Vintage racing and is from NSW Australia.

The McLaren family really enjoyed the recent Festival and had a great time seeing all the ex McLaren helpers and Bruce's many friends and wanted to thank all who made the effort to bring their cars to this great event.

New Zealand's MSC F5000 Tasman Cup Revival Series resumes across the Tasman this weekend, with Victoria's Historic Racing Register hosting the penultimate round at its biennial classic festival meeting at Phillip Island.
Dunedin's Steve Ross (McRae GM1) retains the points lead heading into the weekend's meeting but the third and fourth rounds of the Tasman Cup Revival Series (at the two Festival of New Zealand Motor Racing - Bruce McLaren meetings at Hampton Downs and Pukekohe Park Raceway in January) were dominated by defending MSC title holder Ken Smith (Lola T430).
The result is that evergreen racing veteran Ken Smith has whittled the quick and consistent Ross's lead down to just 16 points and if things continue to go his way at Phillip Island the 68-year-old could be back on top of the points standings heading into the season finale at the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix meeting in a fortnight's time.
Third in the series points standings heading into the weekend is former series champion Ian Clements with fellow Lola T332 drivers Sefton Gibb from Napier and Roger Williams from Auckland fourth and fifth respectively.
Dark horse this weekend, meanwhile, is Christchurch's Chris Hyde (McRae GM1). Hyde was the MSC series champion in 2008 and won the first round of this season's series at Manfeild before mechanical problems blunted his charge at the Lady Wigram Trophy meeting in Christchurch in early January and at the two Festival of New Zealand Motor Racing - Bruce McLaren meetings later that month.
A welcome returnee, meanwhile, will be series stalwart Stan Redmond, behind the wheel of a new Lola T332. The car was completed late last year but this weekend's meeting will be its first for the 2009/10 season.
At 34 the F5000 entry is a new record for the Phillip Island meeting, with the 25 regular series cars from New Zealand and Australia supplemented by the four from the UK and one from the United States which contested the two Festival of New Zealand Motor Racing - Bruce McLaren meetings plus five other Australian-based cars.
Spearheading the UK charge are the two Surtees cars of Greg Thornton and Mike Whatley while quickest of the Australian-based MSC series regulars is expected to be Chevron B24 driver Aaron Lewis.
Of the other Australians entered, it will be interesting, to see how quick former GT and V8 Supercar driver Darcy Russell is behind the wheel of his Lola T330.
This year's classic meeting at Phillip Island has again attracted a record number of entries - 584 cars - as well as what event spokesman Ian Tate has called 'the greatest line-up of famous Australian drivers ever assembled at an historic race meeting.'
Heading it is three-time World Formula 1 champion Sir Jack Brabham with able support from Kevin Bartlett, Alan Moffat, Bob Jane, Colin Bond, Alfedo Costanzo, John Bowe, Jim Richards, Fred Gibson, John French, Harry Firth and Alan Hamilton amongst others.
Several anniversaries are also being celebrated, including the centenary of the Alfa Romeo marque, the 50th anniversary of the Armstrong 500, the event that pre-dated the Bathurst 1000, and the 40th anniversary of the Holden Torana.
The MSC NZ F5000 Tasman Cup Revival Series cars will be on track for practice and qualifying on Friday, a pair of seven lap races on Saturday and a 12-lap final on Sunday.
