A top turnout for this event and lots of topsy turvy results to mix up the table.
Amazingly, rain in the desert for nearly the full week completely disrupted the event, as well as everybodies tips. I find it amazing that they can call a result in the 125s with only three laps completed - in any other sport the event would be called off and no result awarded. Then a shortened 250 race put the cat amongst the pigeons - a fine result for Cluzel but would he still be there after a full 20 laps? As for MotoGP, a disaster for television programmers (professional broadcasters & amatuer PVR owners alike!), notwithstanding that 3:30am for those of us in Antipodean longitudes was an impossible ask.
Giddy wins the bragging rights for this week, his tips in the 250 race proving the difference. Atreiu then rookie tippers Option1 and Kooper make up the rest of the podium. Special mention goes to LazyProdigy who was the only person to think of Cortese in the 125s and even picked him in the right spot! carbuff won the 250 class and was only let down by a crappy performance by Bautista. Five of us picked the MotoGP podium and I'll nominate myself for special dishonour by trying to be smart and changing my 250 tips at the last moment. Of course, my revised tips scored 0 and if I'd left them alone then I would have scored 3 points!
As for philhitchings, it just proves there is no place for patriotism - ever!

Your rider must finish in the top 5 in order to be awarded any points
Rider finishes in the position you guessed 5 points
Rider finishes 1 off your guess 3 points
Rider finishes 2 off your guess 1 points
e.g. you picked Rossi to finish 1st and he finishes 3rd you get 1 point. You pick Stoner to finish 2nd and he comes second you get 5 points.
The results will be calculated as they cross the finish line, future protests and DQ's will not be taken into account.
