Decided to get the Frankenheimer "Grand Prix" film out of the library last night. I've never watched it before, but heard plenty of people say it got them interested in F1. The opening sequences around Monaco are absolutely spectacular. If you've never seen it, give it a watch. There are some memorable quotes too:

"there is no terrible way to win. There is only winning"

Prof. if you watch the moderator's instructions video via the sticky link at the top of the page, you will no doubt discover the delights of the BB Search facility. You will come across other topics which interest you which may have been discussed previously.
Welcome.

Welcome to TNF Prof and thanks for the tip-off re the film ;) ;)

In addition to the search facility there's also a profile which you can complete to tell fellow TNFers a little about yourself (and an "Introduce Yourself" sticky), plus a thread called "Outing Yourself" (or similar) where you can explain the oriigin of your nickname.

Enjoy the Forum!
