Hi .
Pete Lovely run with the Cooper T45-Ferrari 2400cc 4 cylinders (Fred Armbruster team) in EUA 1960 GP.
- Why his engine (Ferrari 2400cc) was called "Castellotti"?
"Many thanks",
Sergio Sultani.

Was it?
The four-cylinder Cooper-Ferraris run by Scuderia Eugenio Catellotti in Europe were sometimes called Cooper-Castellottis, but I don't think I've ever heard of that name being applied to the Ambruster/Lovely Cooper-Ferrari

Indeed - the Scuderia Castellotti Cooper-Ferraris in their definitive form ran with blue crackle-finished cam covers which had been cast with the script name 'Eugenio' replacing the standard 'Ferrari' lettering. Nothing to do with Armbruster or Lovely, so far as I know.
