Does anyone have any news of the dituation at the A1-Ring in Austria, I thought the circuit was great and it has some great history from the seventies and eighties in F1. I just wondered if anyone knew of the situation there currently.

Didn't someone say it was being ploughed up a while ago?
I hope my memory is wrong!

Even the A1-Ring was a joke, if you knew the old Österreichring...
I was racing with a Porsche at the A1-Ring...during a break I accidently found the old parts of the Österreichring like Hella S...even the old banners like Ghinzano etc. were there...it was a strange spirit there and I got in a strange mood...
It was unthinkable, that the cars drove with about 300km/h there...I also could imagine, that Mark Donohue had no chance to survive...

Hey
I found that this web page has some recent-ish pics and info on the A-ring, would be awesome to see the old ring back in action just amazing to see how narrow the tarmac was. BTW this page has some good info on a few sadly lost circuits.
Cheers
