Griffith & TVR Owners:
The annual Gathering of Griffiths & TVRs will be held on June 25-28 at the Mid-Ohio Sport Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. http://www.midohio.com/
In addition to celebrating the 45th anniversary of the Griffith motorcar introduction scale model car manufacturer Automodello and Diecasm will be introducing the "Founder's Edition" 1:43 scale model of the Griffith Series 200 and will also be previewing the production of their next release, the TVR 2500.
As part of the weekend celebrations several original Griffith factory workers will be not only be on hand to answer your questions about this British/American hybrid, but they will also be the Saturday evening dinner guest speakers with a round table discussion group bringing the many stories of life at Griffith in the early and mid sixties to life.
During the last three months we have been notified of two Griffiths that have been in storage since 1967, one Series 200 in Texas, and a Series 400 in Indiana, both verified as correct Griffiths. The Indiana 400 will be trailered in and the owners of the 200 will be at the meet to ask lots of questions and tell the story of this old family heirloom.
There is also an excellent chance that the original Griffith, 200-4-000, the prototype car, will be at the show coming in from Dan Mershon's World of Cars in Akron, OH. Lots of surprises are on hand and we will have space reserved in the corral. All cars attending will be able to be entered into both the track car show and the club car show.
In addition to the Saturday evening banquet, owner of the beautiful and prize-winning Griffith 400-6-031 and famed Ferrari owner and race car driver,Tom Shelton, will be hosting a Friday evening cookout at his home in the Ohio Amish country.
You can check out the scheduling and information for the meet and download the registration forms at

- Mid-Ohio information forms and weekend ticket sales are also represented there along with hotel registration links.
Please join us for the celebration.
Cheers,
Mike Mooney
