I've just listened to a programme on UK Radio 4 called "What is the point of Formula 1", presented by journalist Quentin Letts. It's part of a series he's been doing on various topics, and as he admitted to having no knowledge of, and little interest in, the subject I expected it to be a hatchet job. Instead, we got a pretty well-balanced look at the current situation in F1, with contributions from the usual suspects (Sir Jackie, Damon etc) plus TNFers Doug Nye on the sport's history, and Keith Collantine ('F1Fanatic.co.uk'). It will be repeated tonight at 9-30 pm, again on UK Radio 4.

I just caught most of it and thought it quite good - clearly Stirling and JYS are never going to agree on the safety issue...
