I've got the part of the screen from Ryuichi Kiyonari's 2006 HM Plant Honda plus plenty of autographs from Rossi and other GP riders down to British Championship level.
Incidentally, if anyone from Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council is reading this, could they check at Barwell Tip on the off chance that a Drambuie liveried fairing may still be at the bottom of a skip, it was 1992 when it got deposited but you never know........

Autographs, Barry Ditchburn, Dave Potter, John Newbold.
Smarty & Sheene
Phil Haslam. Still brings a tear to my eye, he invited me & my Wife into his tent and signed this for us, while he worked on his TZ's & ate his lunch at the same time, a huge doorstep size salad sandwich, never forget that, as he had it in the dirtiest oil covered hands!!, lovely chap, he was gone a few short weeks later.
Dear old Pat Mahoney.

Well , I don't know about you , but I have a couple of items which are not stickers , but might be of interest , i'm sure most of you will have far more than me
Here's a couple for starters
Hi
I have recently found an old sticker with a couple of autographs on, one being Barry Ditchburn and the other is the one I could do with a little help on. I have scanned it but I think I am being a bit of dumbo because I can't seem to attach it to any message. Any input would be gratefully received.
Cheers

Hi , and welcome to the forum Mozz .Well you need to set up with a free hosting service like ' Image-Shack ' or ' Photo- Bucket ' after then it's quite easy
My son set up mine for me , but someone on the forum with more info than me should be able to talk you through in a painless way ----- ( I hope )

Hi mozzie, and welcome. Once you've scanned it it's on your desktop or equivalent. Go to Imaghehost (the easiest) or Photobucket and find the browse window and hit the download wotsit on the appropriate image. Once downloaded simply copy, come back to this site and paste it wherever you want to put it.

Some interesting names following yours in that press clipping on the bottom left... a 50cc national race I guess ? 4th George Godier, endurance king of Godier-Genoud fame.... 6th Dayan, is that Denis Dayan who went to cars and was killed at Rouen ? I think he started in bikes....10th Bourgeois, that must be Christian, future Grand Prix rider.......16th Fléouter, that must be Pierrot, who was to become mechanic for, among others , Michel Rougerie.
And some well known names amongst your other contemporaries : Claude Vigreux, Georges Monneret, Jean-Pierre Beltoise, Jean Auréal, Jacques Roca .....
Great document !

I dont, but they would look great in the bathroom!!
How's the TZ restoration going then Chris?
I've threatened to include them in bathroom restorations on a number of occasions, but mercifully have been dissuaded - I would have broken them.
Re: the 750, rebuilt earlier this year and started second bump. Unreal really as I only had the top half off. Have it on vid but seem unableto upload anywhere. I am minus brakes (interesting bump start in the front garden on my own) and a temp guage at the minute (had a 500G spare guage but need alonger reach as the 500 took off the rad, rather than the head in the case of the 750). Next job is to source new master cylinders and seal kits for the brakes. (Help, anyone?) Time is the enemy, as ever. Here she is rebuilt. Not shiny, just cleaned.

Just about to start taking it apart, Russ. Out of curiosity (and recklessly) I went to fire it up - oil, fuel, unstuck the clutch and if fired straight away, having not been touched for over 30 years. I need to send the engine to someone for a proper once over as I'm out of my depth - any recommendations? The other thing I found out was that it was originally a 500, but now carroes a twin spark 350 top half. Does anyone know of sources to check provenance, frame numbers etc??

Yes Chris , smashing job
Re the brakes , you will probably struggle to find original parts , but try Bill Howarth , i'll try to find his number , Vince at Fondseca or of course Dennis Trollope

Chris, afraid I know nothing about the good old Manx and thems that fettle them, other than they look and sound beautiful. Apparently, the factory records are out there somewhere. Not so with the G50/7R though....

I have a few of these type things at home somewhere, from Imola. I think you are correct, the races always seemed to be sponsored by some sort of ceramic company.Does anyone have any of these? Theay are 6x6 ceramic tiles made to commemorate the Imola 200 milers. Santerno, I believe, were a sponsor from the ceramic industry.

I do, as you know i never had much luck getting over fences into paddocks.
Was n't that the year we went up with the old fellas in your olds Rancharo, i remember going on the track after all the racing and getting into the paddock and talking - annoying - the blokes who were running the penetrator land speed thing, did nt your dad have something to do with painting it.
Still remember being shocked by what happenened in the race just where we were watching.

I met Tony Salt at the tt in 07 and it came up in conversation,he bought the engine out of it i think it was a mk8 rg500 engine
Must try and see if i have any pics of it,have no idea how they got on re. the record attempt.Big Dec might know
