This thread is one of the most popular threads on the Nostalgia Forum, so I thought it deserved to have a companion on the Motorcylce Racing Nostalgia forum. From now on, please make this the place to post links to any *finds* made on YouTube, which will save clutter on the forum and should make it easier to locate clips in the future.

Here is a selection to get the ball rolling:

Thanks Graham
Nice Six Hours stuff, I'll run the bike in the same trim in AHRMA/ AMA races when they get themselves sorted out. Should be loads cheaper too! Anyone any info on tyres and suspension settings for the GSX11? I watched Granty,Dave Hiscock et al at Mallory in the Streetbike series, hence the number plate. The Bazza 7 is going on a road legal GT 750 thingy when I get around to working on it.

Brilliant  I'm fairly sure I spotted Stu near the beginning of the clip, with the white Nava helmet and the Levi's leathers . Also Hennen, Croz, Warren Willing, and Randy Mamola watching from the "pitlane"....

Yes there's lots of interesting clips there. I remember I was at a biker cafe with some mates on that sunday when someone pulled up and told us Renzo and Jarno had been killed. We were all stunned, very sad, two great riders in one go.
Here's a very sad clip, I cant see them doing this sort of homage any more. But also....... note the frightening 'sky seats' !!!

Yeh, nice bike that Elf, shame they didn't develop it further. I remember seeing that Mamola 'get off' before, i'm just glad the tv's don't do slowmo's on ones where the riders are hurt.

I think the onboard looks to be shot at the Le Mans Bugatti circuit and Monza rather than Spa.

Some lovely external shots of the high speed corners at Burnenville and Stavelot though, such a shame that the 2 of the main reasons for building the new Spa were to eliminate these two corners :well: .

Bloody quick 7R too if that what Scaysbrook was really on. And didn't Surtees do that standing on the foootrests and looking between his legs type thing in the old days?

Brilliant footage, I always had the utmost respect for the Irish guys who did the roads every weekend, big balls indeed!

That was from '77, the fishing boat that sank in Strangford Lough was '84 I think.

I have also ridden there many times.

Some riders found it boring. I liked it with it´s even, not so complicated bends. A good beginners track and I was a beginner.
Down the straight, on a 50cc, you really had lots of time to think about what you were doing there!
Only time it wasn´t funny, was when the F1´s had just been there, rubber everywhere, even big lumps of it.
There has been talk about removing the track totally. But there was a big sign up campagne against that desicion, so we have to wait and see.

Cor, '62 Falcon, I had one of them.

The lower section of Bathurst, where I think we catch a glimpse of Toombsie on his 7R, as well as Oran Park.

Thanks David.

Not really, that burst out of the Imola pit road alone gave me a mongrel, spent the rest of the afternoon watching associated links and emailing the url to like-minded victims.
