Hi All

I'm wondering if anybody has any photos from the 1980 BMW Procar series that they would be kind enough to post

I'm mainly looking for pit or padock shots as I was involved with the team that ran the cars in 1980

I know of at least one other subscriber to this forum who would just as delighted as me to see anything that may be out there

I thought I had a couple of the MP4 vehicle from Brands 1980 uploaded but apparently not I'll get back to you on that one.

Please note I am not interested in having this photo published in a book on M1 / Procar.

All these pics of BMW M1 racing reminded me of the round at Silverstone where during the evening after qualifying my friend was struggling to retrieve a contact lens that had slid behind his right eye in the then new paddock shower/washing block.

There were a number of the BMW team mechanics there and the largest one with huge hands and suitably thick fingers demonstrated the most amazingly delicate touch and dexterity to retrieve it.

Rob,

I have a little segment as shown on Austrian TV channel 'ORF' showing quite a few minutes from 'behind the scene'. I believe this was shown either before or after the Osterreichring race which was shown live on ORF.
