Here's a pic of a sprightly Don Emde with Team Obsolete at Mid-Ohio. Team Obsolete didn't race unfortunately. Don (TeeZed) knows more of the reasons why!

Cub racer
Larry Poons G50
This is why we go to the classic stuff isn't it? Larry has been racing the Matchless since 1971. It was great to see him beat a 1000 Honda CBX to the line on Sunday! What a fascinating character, if you google Larry Poons you'll maybe relate to some of the eccentricity all racers seem to have, in his art work. He's 72 now by the way, a little to go to catch Willy Wishire though.

Hi David,
Even though Team Obsolete did bring many exotic bikes just for display they did race. On Saturday, in the rain, I watched Dave Roper win the 350GP race on a Team Obsolete bike. It was a Aermacchi 350 single I believe.
