Sorry I have to pass on this request.
The Manta is to common for me to take pictures (unless it's a TE2800) since I have both models running in the family.
My brother has a Manta A and my nephew has a B. I've been thinking about having a photo session with both cars but just haven't got around to do it.

Manta A was the first Left Hand Drive car I ever drove and the first car I ever drove at an indicated 165 kph, legally, so I have a particular soft spot for them

The mudguard shape looks wrong - could it be an ISO, which were similar to the Lambrettas? Or even a Peugeot! That looks like a Peugeot lion.

(but I am very probably completely wrong)

What is this supposed to read? Appia?
Sorry to say this but this is IMHO a good example how not to do it. Or a good example for bad graphic design.

The best graphics in the world are useless if illegible (learned before 20 as a sign painter).

If you ignore the line through the middle, I think it says "annia."

A couple from the Exeter Trials

Posted Image

The Beaumonts Popemobile,

Posted Image

this Ford Cologne V4 powered a Saab, note the weights bolted to the top of the inner wing for extra traction,

Posted Image

spent much of the trial in the wheel tracks oldest vehicle taking part, driven by Ben Collings with 70 year old Roger in the passenger seat, which dated back to 1903,

Posted Image

Roger keeps an eye on the 9.25 litre 4 cylinder motor of his Mercedes Simplex.

A muddy time was had by all.
