Hi all,

Yes, that is the 'sacrificial anode' (Thats how it is referred to on the placard) Folland Gnat engine from Donald Campbell's Bluebird, on show in the little museum on Coniston Water.

I was there myself only a few weeks ago and took some similar pictures.

Oooh, wobbly web! I want to buy a wobbly web wheel, paint it up, put a fresh Dunlop racing tyre on it, and just set it in the corner of my living room (I tried this once with a restored Rostyle and Pirelli Cintuarto, but it's just not the same). My favorite wheel, if that's not being too geeky.
