Michel Dore finished 8th in a Corre La-Licorne, 11 laps behind race winner William Grover-Williams.
Did Dore and the Corre La-Licorne appear in any other GP races around this time?
The Corre La-Licorne had an engine capacity of 1.5 litres, so was it a voiturette?

You can find a few other appearances by Doré (and others) with Corre-La Licornes scattered throughout the 1920s. According to the Georgano encyclopaedia, the car used by Doré at Monaco was the 1.4 litre model designed originally for the 1914 Coupe de l'Auto (cancelled due to the war). I have to say that's a bit dubious and I'm more inclined to think it was a stripped sports model.

Hello Graham Clayton and vitesse2,

Graham,
Yes it was a voiturette i believe.
On my website you can find a lot of Michael Doré
before he went to the Licorne compagnie he was racing for BNC.
He left in 1929 the La Licorne brand and went to Bugatti.
more at corre-lalicorne.com link:
http://www.corre-lal.../en-course.html ( more to come in a few days because the website is under construction)

Michael drove a Bugatti T35 during the first "Ralley the Monte Carlo" in Monaco.
Hector Petit was driving one of the 5 HO2 -Licorne's and won the race.

Vitesse2,
I am interested in the information in the Georgano encyclopaedia.

"categorié sportcars" is also possible.
