A friend and I were talking about old Group C and Championship of Makes Cars that were not so famous or successful. Two in particular came up: The Ford C-100 and the Gulf/John Wyer Mirage Coupe.

I recall seeing the JW coupe about 13 yrs ago at a vintage event. It was powered by a Cosworth and similar to the GR-7 that had an open cockpit. The Ford is very hazy to me because ESPN carried Group C racing, but after the C-100 was gone. I have no memory of the car and rarely see mention of it. I would love some link or photos. Anybody in the know???

Thanks in advance for your help.........
