No info on the Comet, I'm afraid. Is that an Elfin 700 nose on it?
Around 1985 while running in the Calder rounds of the Australian Super Series I stayed at Geof Watson's house. He had his Watson clubman (u2 clone?) in his small garage there and had already been running it for quite a few seasons by then. I'd be surprised if he had been punting an F2 before it. Speaking of clubman drivers, Gordon Dobie built a couple of similar F2 cars around that time. I think there are photos on the Australian constructors thread. Also, if Geof Watson did drive it any time, Chris Hocking would be someone who could provide details on it.

Edward Gavin had some Costa copies made for his Cheetahs a few years back.
