lol @ Button's whine...

Yep, that Kobayashi guy just got himself a lot of provisional fans I think. He's got some good racecraft and I sure hope we get to see some more of him soon.

Well done by Kobayashi in that first stint. I hope he can maintain his pace and score some points in his F1 debut.

My longing for Sato is gone. With Kobayashi we don't need Takuma anymore!

Weaving and blocking, caused one crash because of it. Good stuff, but needs to cut that out.

Incredible debut, fantastic racing from this guy! Absolute class,I have to say: just the right amount of aggression, and yet no mistakes whatsoever.

If Toyota wants a japanese driver there, then, Kobayashi is the answer. Sorry Nakajima..

Should have been penalised for his chop on Naka.

This guy is mighty. Really enjoyed his racing, although he did create a serious Trulli-train at one point. :D

Well, Toyota is better than Renault by miles right now

I disagree. Weber did the same thing. And he saw it from the other end of the straigh, apparently! He's a fast learner!

I that race there was a lot of friction. Kobayashi did his part.

I hope he speaks like JPM.

Have my reservations regarding his move on Kaz. Personally it was uncalled for.

Other than that, I'm very impressed with him. The guy has balls the size of watermelons, and did some of the best overtaking maneuvers out there.

good stuff. Fuck Trulli. Give Kobayashi the drive, and keep Glock as well.

He seems genuinely fast but boy is he a danger to anyone else on track. What happened to Naka I put almost totally on Koba.

Or at least get him a decent drive in GP2 next year. Looking at his F1 speed i wonder why he was that slow in GP2 this year.

I was going to start a similar thread. Good job OP.

I keep thinking of the Tour de France and how they have a "most combative" award. I nominate Kamui for this award.

Course he's also the best young driver. How old is he?

Anyone have any facts about him? I'll go look up his wikipedia page.

It's nice to see some potential talent show up in F1... If Glock had never had his Suzuka incident, we'd never heard of Kobayashi... :well:

Here's his wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia....Kamui_Kobayashi

Ironically, his only GP2 win was after an aggressive driving penalty to a guy who defended his position too aggressively in front of Kamui...a certain Romain Grosjean.

It would be fun to see him score some points. How are the Toyotas predicted to go at Abu Dhabi?

He is certainly a racey driver. He wasn't to be cowed into submission by any of the big names. Well done !
