Does anybody here remember Max Wiener who came in 2nd at the 1977 Austrian GP 500cc class? Please post photos if you have any. Thanks.

As you will remember, the 1977 Austrian Grand Prix was held under ....eeerrr...."special" circumstances with a very limited field, due to the tragic events that took place in the 350cc race that day.

You are amazing. Thanks man!!! I actually knew Max pretty well. He was killed in a car crash in 1995. :cry:

Not seen it posted here before. Be warned, it does have footage of the accident.

The emergency response was a joke back then. Thanks god for all the improvements over the years.
