Greetings from South Africa, I have really enjoyed reading the nostalgia forum here, and have often wondered what it would be like to sit around a campfire and talk racing with some of you guys. So tell me what you think of my idea. The idea is to get a group of racing buddies together and to offer you a package deal to come and see the world cup and perhaps see a local race meeting .I will be able to offer you accomodation in my large luxury home in Johannesburg(sleeps 10) and also at my lodge in the Mabalingwe private game reserve (sleeps 10) where we have the big 5.We will make our family availible to provide all transport ,food and all guidance required .Im sure we could turn it into the trip of a lifetime. I have recently formed the South African Motorcycle academy which aims to groom our young racers aged 8-13 into our stars of tommorow ,the kids are racing in the Honda nsf100 junior trophy in 2010.
Im sure that the knowledge that some of you will be able to pass on whilst sitting around a fire in the african bush ,will help in our quest to once more hear the South African national anthem played on a gp podium.Any profit earned by the tour will be used towards the fees of the disadvantaged kids attending the academy.
This is just an idea in its infancy, so maybe just let me know the dates and places of games you would like to see we coul then take it from there What do you think of this idea?.Get in touch with your old racing mates and see if you can put a reunion together.

Sorry, but I have to ask you, what disadvantaged kids are you referring to? I would have thought anyone lucky enough to attend a MGP acadamy would have quite an advantage over those unable to attend.
