I want Massa to be the last man standing. Never before and never again, just this once. And to win it in Brazil.

"Come on! Come on!" If only we could be the difference when we yell at the tv screen, urging fate to give our favourites their due. Given that power, whose fate would you protect or raise to their full potential?

There's only 20 options. I dropped Algersuari, Chandhok, Glock and di Grassi. Was I right? You forgot the new guy racing for HRT, Chandok.. not that he is gonna get many votes!

I'm surprised that with so many British people here, the amount Hamilton is leading Button in this poll is striking.
I'll never look at this board the same way again.
Posted 06 March 2010 - 22:25
Yeah, I know, I'm surprised its not more equal... 44 to 7 is huge in Lewis' favor. They are both British.

I'm surprised so many are voting for Lewis Hamilton.
I was always under the impression that, rather like Schumacher, the masses would have to "accept" him over 5-10 years rather than embrace him after only 3.
His supporters don't seem to shout nearly as loud as his detractors.

Has always been so. I've always said so. His detractors/haters, whatever you want to call them, are very vocal but not necessarily in the majority. I think that was the reason why James Allen wasn't invited to commentate at the BBC and we have the dreadful Legard - just because of the haters writing into the BBC.
You only have to look at Hamilton's FaceBook page to see how truly popular he is and internationally so.

Couldn't agree more. I for one was always content with James Allen as a commentator and am put to sleep with Legard's droning and lack of enthusiasm. I remember a couple of years ago getting a few tapes of recorded GPs from the 80s and 90s out, with Murray Walker commentating on, and while watching them I realised that, dare I say it, Allen was actually a lot better than Walker.
