I have re-joined here;
http://www.fantasyracers.com
for F1.
One picks 6 drivers within a budget.
We need an Autosport or Atlas Subleague.

I've created Atlas league on fatasyracers.com - it's called Atlas F1, and it's open, so feel free to join.

Also old league on f1manager.info is still active, it seems. And I wouldn't worry there's 2012 still in there - they're not the best with updates.

Good luck in 2013 guys, I liked f1racemanager.com best, though :(

Ah, cool. Didn't think to check for an Atlas group. in f1manager.info but there it is!

Fantasyracers I find a little boring with only driver choices, but I'll join that as well.

So, F1manager.info it is? Three days to go and they still haven't added Bianchi and Sutil. Seems to be off to a good start. :/

Sutil is there, kind of. And why would you get Razia anyway

But yeah, I don't know. We'll see after the first race how it gets going I guess.

Now all I have to do is figuring out how to play. I have no clue, there seems to be no option whatsoever on this game. How do I hire Alonso and Vettel to drive for me?

He was the cheapest driver i could afford who is not Max Chilton. Hope i'll get upgraded to Bianchi for free.

Sorry, but you don't. They're too expensive for you right now. You have 100mil and you have to buy 2 drivers, chasis and engine.
Remember:
- every change is costly (10% selling fee)
- the more points you get, the more money you have
- you only get points for places 1-10 (see faq) so theres no point to go for marrusia lineup
- remember to enter pole time, maybe you'll get lucky,
- wait with purchase, changes (always) until after ther 3rd practice, than you'll kinda know what to expect

Register also on fantasyracers, if you didn't!

On Fantasyracer.com you only pick up to 6 drivers. (one could pick Vettel and Alonso)
Racemanager is dead for this year.
What site lets you pick engines and chasis?

http://www.f1manager.info/ does.

Also, if you guys want to try an another one where you still have time to make your team until qualifying, here's decent looking one. In this one you need to pick 6 drivers + 2 teams with some restrictions (you can't have both 2 drivers + their team at the same time). The budget is quite extensive, too so here it's really about picking the right guys at the top:

I believe database is unlocked so you can make changes? At least at f1manager info, I think.
Worth checking, I set the pole time couple minutes ago beacuse the site was dying in the morning, and I didn't want to wake up at 4AM to setup pole time :)

....yeah, my changes could have gone better as I switched the Williams guys for Ricciardo (DNF) and Hülkenberg (DNS) :rotfl:

Team Plymouth is happy with its opening performance of 4th place in Fantasy F1, congratulating Kimi for an excellent performance. However it is not one to rest on its laurels and changes may be in the pipeline for Malaysia...

STIGG Racing joins the grid on F1Manager.info this weekend having missed the first two races while moving to our new factory. The team relocated from Dublin, Ireland to the township of Marlboro, New Jersey in order to facilitate a new technology research collaboration with Altria Ventures Inc.

The team's logo also received an overhaul. The new design pays tribute to the outfit's Irish roots and features a white mountain which showcases the team's desire to reach the top. After failing to secure a title sponsor, STIGG Racing have decided to include the team's address in an attempt to boost tourism in the area. We wanted to find some way to give back to the community after experiencing a warm welcome on arrival.

The new logo will feature prominently on the car, drivers' overalls and all team personnel uniforms.

While Lewis' race was a personal disappointment for Team Plymouth's manager, brave changes in both Fantasy F1 and F1 Manager has sent them up to 1st and 3rd in each league. Of interest is a renewal of an old rivalry with MarillionF1, equal 1st and just a few points behind in the second league. Team Plymouth is sure that the fight will remain tight for the rest of the season

:) I was tempted to take Sutil instead of Hulk in fantasyracers but decided he's to unlucky lately. My mistake! ;)
Good luck to you too and hoping for a win in overall ranking!

I was lucky with Sutil but didn't exactly hit the jackpot with Massa!

A decent end of season race for Team Plymouth having jettisoned mercilessly Lewis for Webber (Race Manager) and Nico (Fantasy f1) respectedly for an all Red Bull team in Race Manager and a Vettel-Webber-Rosberg lineup in Fantasy F1. Unfortunately misplaced faith in Lewis in the last third of the season previously kept them out of championship contention though last minute improvements to 2nd place in Race Manager and 3rd place in Fantasy F1 was a reasonable result. Congrats to MarillonF1 for being just a bit too hot to handle yet again (1st in Race Manager and 2nd in Fantasy F1) and for Katori Motors' inspired team selection at the beginning of the season resulting winning the Fantasy F1 game

Man, that was a painful season, especially on F1manager.info. Should have read those rules, i guess - when i found out only points are counted, half the season was over already.

Fantasyracers was a fun substitute for F1racemanager, and so much faster when it came to adding results. Too bad we can't choose chassis/engines there. Also too bad i forgot to re-add a driver after i removed one for Suzuka. That would have been 4th, at least. Oh well.

Hoping that F1racemanager is back for next season. Maybe with the speed of Fantasyracers as well?
