annoying how they do there hardest to try and make it sure nico and michael cant fight on the track with BS pit stratergies..

they should do it so the fastest driver gets first dibs rosberg has been plain slow all race

Slow motion makes it look like Perez was almost coasting when you'd expect him to perhaps be accelerating to the next braking zone.

Not saying he was doing anything dodgy, but this isn't the first time a Sauber looks almost to be brake testing this year - Almost as though there's a "characteristic" of the car design.

Of course, if Rosberg hadn't got obsessive over racing as soon as his team mate is anywhere near the picture, or if Merc had timed the stops so as not to feed Schumacher back into the Sauber/ FI/ Rosberg gaggle...

This is so gutting. Schumacher was so much faster than Rosberg today. I saw one lap where he was 2 seconds faster. Once again, Roseberg just cruses around and gets possibly 10 more points than Schumacher. Michael lost so much time in the pit stops compared to Roseberg, but was clearly much much faster on the track. Grrr!

And there we have Martin Brundle questioning whether or not Michael should be racing with his sly comments. You would think he would realise how bitter he comes across considering the amount of talk about it.

thats racing guys, honestly as much as we can blame anyone else, we can change anything.. but the important thing is he had an amazing race pace, and he was much better than nico

A shame to see him out of a race that he's clearly quicker than Rosberg - on a track that is meant to be probably Rosbergs best on the calender?

thanks to fantastic pit calls the guy that was miles faster from lap 5 on was running in traffic most of the time. He should have been nowhere near that f***ing Sauber in this race with their f***ing super clever "we don´t pit" strategies.

MGP's strategy thought forced Michael to fight his way though other cars twice and you can't expect him to escape all the time. He already had a moment earlier with Koba and now the accident with Perez.. All i know is that everything started with MGP's and Nico's stupidity and then Michael probably is to blame for what he tried to pull with Perez, and still i don't realise what happens with those saubers in every corner they have someone behind..

No matter whose fault the accident is i really can't stand MGPS's strategies!

Terrible race overall. Hunted down Rosberg twice only to be halted by shitty Mercedes tactics & a crap misjudgement. Perez exiting that corner with such a slow speed is unreal.

I agree. Sauber never seem to pit. Idiots. And they keep brake testing everyone else. MS was clearly up to 2 secs faster than Nico each lap. Now Rosberg will extend his lead in the championship. Very cruel.

He had fantastic race pace, the only plus of this weekend. Quicker than Rosberg both before and after their pitstops and he was really closing in on his teammate. Real pity.

If Perez had slowed down I want him banned and thrown out of the sport for a race or two so these goddamned rookies learn how to drive.

After the recent BBC commentary lashing out at MS (what am I saying, recent? Ever since his comeback, in fact), the guy who famously failed to accerlate and stayed on the racing line whilst doing so seems to be almost quiet about it, with no rule book rummaging this weekend.

Hmmmmmm

I put this down to a slightly less than optimal qually call (surely there was a chance to get 7th on the grid, which would have maybe kept the 1st corner cutting Rosberg behind, and resulted in more clear air to Perez), Merc's usual intriguing strategy calls during the race, the Saubers odd way of being slow at unexpected spots, and Schumi trying to get a decent result when a little caution might have done him better.

But, on the bright side this does indeed show Schumi *can* keep up with his team mate on a track Rosberg is meant to be excellent at and Schumacher is apparently not so good around. Bring on the real drivers tracks, and let's hope the strangely slowing Saubers and randomly running Renaults don't get in the mix.

That sums up 2011 for Michael. And if the Saubers keep brake testing everyone else someone should do something about it at last because there are too many suspicious incidents including them.

Hahaha, I was cursing the Sauber's too for never pitting. First Kobayashi running very long on his first set (holding up Michael) and then Perez on his second set.

Good race, shame for the accident. Wasn't worth it, really, Perez was clearly slower and would've been easy prey in the next lap. But then again, all other "slow" drivers (aka "running a different race") left room to the faster car todays, bar this situation.

Michael saying Perez lifted off the throttle.

He also just shrugged his shoulders and said its a racing incident so no big deal. He looks dissapointed, but I respect that he doesn't need to b*tch and whine to the press about these things... unlike some drivers like to...

MS on speed tv, "I was surprised he lifted so early in the corner. I was about to dive to the inside and he lifted. I don't think he did it purposely. It's racing"

FIA stewards should investigate every action and look at the telemetry instead of acting like were still in the 80's

I do think it was Perez fault.. but Michael at the same time should have given a bit more margin into that corner .. had much more opportunity downstream to get him.

I don't think its perez fault, its something about the sauber.. they have been hit up the back multiple times this year by various drivers.

That said, Michael will be far from unhappy, once again he overdrove the car and outdrove his teammate.

I disagree - Michael was way .off the line. There is no way he could have done anything productive that corner. I also do not think Perez break-tested as MS suggested. 100 % MS fault - sad that it ended an otherwise interesting race methinks

Great shame, Schumi was driving well.

The Stewards need to examine the telemetry from the sauber.

wheel to wheel racing sometimes leads to that. sh!t happens

he's had so much action -> came through the field in spa, fighting wheel to wheel with lewis and a lot of fights and overtakes today after his first pit stop (terribly timed going from 2.5 to 12 sec to Rosberg)
