and 9-0 on massa, who isn't the worst driver ferrari has ever had. and by quite a margain again.

only liuzzi has a 9-0 record but his teammates were a guy who hadn't race for 6 years and a rookie.

I would be especially happy if he wins in Britain :)

It won't be easy of course.

Just a "what if", but if Alonso wins and Vettel DNF or finish out of points...
Do you think there's a realistic shoot on the WDC?

TBH, I alread lost faith on championship chances.
But it still would be wonderful

If Alonso wins next two races and Vettel DNFs in both we might start thinking cautiouly about the WDC.
But it isn't going to happen.
Let's just hope for at least one victory before the mid season break, at the moment that would cause for cheer.

Well he is what, 99 points ahead of fernando. So, he takes 25 off that 74 to vettels DNF. If vettel finishes second (probably will be waved through by webber/''pit strategy''), then its 92.

Either way. There is no hope. Fernando needs to finish first in the next 9 races and vettel 3rd. What we really need, is Felipe to up his game, or take vettel out. Lets be frank. He is 4 wins ahead, its a loosing battle to be honest.

 Alonso had me sh*t scared in Q1. glad he kept it out of the gravel.

P3, not so bad. and Ferrari were meant to struggle here.

PS anyone notice his sloppy shaving?

No way. That is part of Ferrari history and unless Bernie forked out some serious cash that car will remain part of Maranello.

Correct.

Owned by Bernie Ecclestone, the car is the one used by Jose Froilan Gonzalez to win that year’s British GP – the first World Championship win for the Italian marque. Year 1951

Hmm it was expected by everyone that Ferrari were going to come out stronger after these changes hence them being very quiet over the whole situation :)

I think none of the teams knew what to expect. Here is his own opinion about the matter:

"I think it is mainly due to the improvement of Ferrari, the evolution we have had all season. I think we all lose performance with the new rules and we all lose more or less the same performance, maybe three-tenths to five tenths, but a team cannot lose 1.5 seconds and the other one only one tenth. The truth is that in this grand prix we are third and fourth, both Felipe and me ahead. The team has done a good job and we are competitive."

1,7 faster than his teammate and beating 2 Arrows, 1 Prost and 1 Bar Honda driven by Villenueve with a Minardi! If it's not impressive then tell me why because I am pretty sure it is. I think Schumi's face says it all.

oops. thanks for correcting

i have checked now all the races and i havent found a race where karthikeyan beated liuzzi in qualy.

but in monaco, where both didnt take part in the qualy, karthikeyan was given the 22nd grip position and liuzzi 23rd (although liuzzi setted the faster time in fp).
maybe that stat count that as a win, although it is not really a win in qualy over a teammate.

let us say, you were right. liuzzi is still ubeaten by his teammate in this season so far. ;)

No, he still holds that view. But he has accepted that F1 is what it is, and now he just races.

GRRRRREAT WIN! VIVA ALONSO!

Yup. He's not the passionate young charger of '05-'06, but a more mature, patient and smarter driver. Brains and balls in equal measure.

You have to be kidding me, that phrase was said under some unfair circustances, and you know it, don't pull the quote out of the context, but anyway, he stands by his comments, he know that F1 is sport and politics and he understand that now, that's why he is enjoying F1 more than ever, he is at peace with the "black side" of F1.
