Oil on the road is the only explanation.

Gravel road. I think after a few passes oil would not matter. I think it's what the other dude said, "blind rally"

Ahh, the Michelin-gate.....what a load of bollocks by Ferrari
Would've been poetic justice if Raikkonen or Montoya had won the WDC that year.

EDIT: to avoid OT, let's add this:

I'm sure they did have to modify the tyres, but the tyres were never measured post-race as the FIA 'clarification' stated.

Notice that after the jump the co-driver stays silent for several seconds, and then says calmly "Oh, we lost something" (it turns out that they lost the back wheel).

Nice. But FWD cars on a dirt oval - what a waste of fun :)

why a waste of time? its one of the competetive class in the netherlands.

Not waste time, "fun". I wrote. Nah, personally I just find it quite boring with FWD on dirt since you kind of fight with the car all the time. It does not give the same harmonic feeling as setting a RWD up and balance it. The fact that I never really learned how to drive a FWD correctly might influence my judgement. I just avoided them :)

My bad with ''Time'' and ''Fun''. I understand your point. One driver will find it very nice to fight with the car and the other driver prefers that the car is well balanced RWD on the track as you says. Just like the Formula 1's -->

Interesting with the car without that horrific wing. Seems he pulled away and drove with the leaders in the beginning. After a while he was caught, but the speed difference between him and the winged cars did not seem to be much bigger than between a good and a mediocre driver. Those wings are so insanely ugly and since they do so little, they should just ban them.

It's nice to see that you have really your own opinion about this. In the early days they has never racing with wings. But in these times are sponsors so incredible important that the drivers have put big wings on there roof for them. Also they have spoiler colours for the grid order. Rookies are white then you have yellow, blue and red. They have also red with lights (Superstar) and Silver (National Champion) and Gold (World Champion).

This is also very cool to see... some banger races. :smoking:

I would feel like a lot less of a man if I was driving with a woman that wasn't making faces and noises like that. I might even say I feel obligated as a ballsy driver to make that woman get as close to pissing herself as possible, but that's just me.
