I don't know if Phil Rainford is around tomorrow! If not, you're on duty cyrilmac. :)

I'll have to try and get down to one of these fairly soon . Unfortunately I have pennies to earn plus a Renault Laguna to fix :(

The speedbumps around here in Birmingham cost the council £7000 each to install! They really are serious about wrecking your suspension!

I can still hear that flat 12 even though it didn't do many laps. I'm sorry not to have details of driver/owner .
Will try harder next week unless I get the sack!

Paul Knapfield was the Ferrari pilot today, Rob Hall had the "It's a dirty job but someones got to do it" task of driving the Wolf, both Tyrrell's, the Brabham and the absolutely fantastic Matra.

A great couple of action shots posted by Phil Rainford on Friday; were they shot at the entry to the Esses, Phil?

At that rate, this thread could be set to rival "Blood Pressure" for sheer volume! :)

May be there next Wednesday, meetings permitting.

Happy birthday for yesterday to Giraffe.

What is that F1 with a Repco 740 in the back? It's not a Brabham BT24 (doesn't even look much like one!), is it some other historic chassis or a complete re*l**a?

Thank you all for the kind words. I promise not to post all the images. Ithought maybe 3 or 4 more.
For some reason they post right size straight away if I just do 1 at a time can't see any reason why though ? Is it because I use a mac do you think ?

No problems with Mac's.

I think it's to do with the code you copy and paste from Image Shack.

It's ex de Siebenthal, Soprano, Topran, Dimmer BT24 replica, based on a BT23 chassis (maybe 04) and a 620 based engine with 740 heads

Is that the car that a one time owner sued the FIA over?

I, better Mrs. Moser, owned the original BT24-3, retired by myself on 14.05.2009 from Frank Williams, on that's time at Slough.

Yes John Dimmer means to have the original car. Sincerly I cant understand this, it's clearly not a BT24. Confirmed also from Jack Brabham on 2000 or before, with this statment;

Sir Jack Brabham himself considers that John Dimmer's car is NOT a proper BT24, but a car based on something else, perhaps a BT23 or something like a BT23.

I believe that this incident caused ructions at the FIA and prompted Max Mosley to send a representative on a worldwide mission..............
