Can anyone shed any light on event dates for the Pikes Peak Hillclimb between 1972 and 1982 inclusive? The official website has gaps...

In 1972/1973/1974/1975/1976/1977/1978/1979 the PPHC took place on Independance Day, July 4th.

Probably July 4th as well, but I am not dead sure. F.e. in 1987 it was July 11th.

Yeah you're right - it wasn't on Jul 4 for any of the years 83-89.

Do you have a list of winners, cos I'm struggling with 2003, 2004, 2005?!
