I am trying to find a photo of the dashboard of the Austin Ulster that won this race. The reason is I have bought an Ulster from Canada originally supplied to the Dublin Austin agent Lincoln and Nolan in April 1931. The car competed in the 1931 Irish Grand Prix and the Ards TT. The car was supposed to a 1931 car but close inspection of the original panels shows a significant similarity to the 1930 500 car driven by Davis/Earl of March, so perhaps it is a 1930 works car. Not sure how to take this forward but a photo of the dasboard may help. The rev counter is red lined at 5000 rpm as described by Sammy Davis in his book A Racing Motorist.
The car is important in Austin history but there are still questions to be answered.

Hope the photo comes out. As I said I am trying to get a photo of the dash of the Brooklands 500 winner, it may be the same car but I need more evidence.
