I was sorry to miss the Pirelli this year, but will hopefully get out to see at least one BHRC round before the year is out. The Tiger is a glorious beastie, isn't it? Looks like a series of near accidents strung together as it makes its way through the woods.
By the way - I've been using this thread as a repository for all non-specific rally pics (I think my 2009 Pirelli pics are in there somewhere). EDIT: I see you already found it!

It sounded glorious when it passed us .... with the engine note echoing off the trees

Judging by the damage to the back end it was in the woods at some point

He attacked a log pile while trying to hold off Waite, who beat him to win the category!

A second helping.....
Dessie Nutt and Geraldine McBride show signs of a frontal assualt on Cumbria
It was fairly heavy off, there is sequence some where I will try and find a link. He came into service with the frontb wheel jammed in the wheelarch, and a broken wishbone and bent steering arm.

However just looking at the entry for the British Championship which just about gets above the 30+ mark while the Historic entry is well in excess of double that number
Don't know if that it is testament to the strength of Historic Rallying or a sad reflection on the current state of the British Championship??

Can we keep rally photos to the pre-existing thread? (Personal photos from rally....) and not extend this one further - it makes it difficult to find old posts/photos. Subject is effectively same. By being on this forum, all are, by definition, historic.

Erik Streda/Christian Hess 1974 Saab 96

James Tannahill with his Peugeot 205 replica.

First of all the link to the entry list!Cool Eifel pictures. Did you manage to get any of Steve Rockingham in his ex-Works TR7?
Then some more shots:
There was a bunch of TR7s and also Steve Rockingham...in a white '99 Subaru Impreza WRC.
Patrick Graindor/Rudi Gillet
Donald Verhaeghe/Ingrid Waignein
Bjorn Waldegard messing with a heavy Mercedes with automatic transmission...and he was quick.
Yves Loubet/JB Rodriguez
Pat and Noelle Horan
Friedhelm Pinnen/Wolfgang Witt
I know that the Peugeots are some of the rarest rallye cars. One of the two Peugeot 205 T16 that were entered for the event was a replica. So were all three cars that 'competet' in 2011(?). I know that some of the original cars were rebuild into the 'Grand Raid' version. I think one or two even became 405s. I can't remember seeing a 205 T16 in anything else but works colours. Did Peugeot sell any competition cars to private teams back in the day at all?

There were of course supposed to be 50 production cars made for homologation purposes, some of which must doubtless have been converted into competition cars. There was a 205T16 run by Peugeot-Talbot Sport UK for Mikael Ericsson so some did get out of the main works team's hands although I do not recall any in purely private hands. But perhaps in France, there were some?I know that the Peugeots are some of the rarest rallye cars. One of the two Peugeot 205 T16 that were entered for the event was a replica. Excellent pictures. Thank you for posting them - my favourite (as you can guess from my avatar) is

200 cars for Group B.
I think Patrick Snijers ran a T16 in the European championship, with Bastos sponsorship? And Bernard Darniche ran a Gauloises-sponsored car.
