I was at Coniston, Ruskin Museum yesterday and parts of K7 are on display. Both repaired components and throw away cast off components that are all corroded. Including the engine. Which evidently acted as a sacrificial annode. The body work behind the capsule is very mashed as well as corroded.

The Lakes district have not forgotten the Cambells, both the Ruskin and Lakeland museums have large exhibits to do with them. Lakeland has a replica of K7 made by the BBC.

I will put the pics up when I get back home. Hard enough on the desk top without trying to do it from the lap top!

Looking forward to seeing them!

For anyone with an interest in such matters "The Bluebird Project" forum site is a good read.
