In contrast with this ad from Ferrari, the one from Ferrari has got to be the worst in history, its so bad that it is even hilarious funny.
oh dear!

That Ferrari-Shell ad, oh my God.... I can't believe they released it - this was the best they got out of it?

Even as a Ferrari fan I totally agree with you to some degree. It isn't the worst though, all I'll say is, "its because your worth it." That goes down as the worst ad ever to include anything from Ferrari. Schumacher was scraping the barrel with that one.
You dont have to be a Mclaren fan to enjoy the Vodafone ad though.

As for the Kimi-Fisi ad. I sure hope that they had the campy cheesyness planned. My favorite part is when Kimi comes out of the car and says "ah-bon giorno" He really hated that stuff.

I doubt you'll see the advert on TV. It's too long, too funny and quite clever.
TV advertising is all about dumb TV, 'how to look good naked, 'swap your wife', 'dance like a stripper' and that us BEFORE the water shed.
Nay, too sensible and not nearly dumb enough to put on TV to tittilate the masses.

"...There is some good chemistry and good humour here, which is what these things should be all about. The link to Vodafone is a bit tenuous, but it’s entertaining. It’s clear that Hamilton has far more of a feel for the spanner than Button, who asks at one point, “Did you do any work on your own kart?” because clearly he didn’t..."

Great ad, McLaren is clearly the best team marketing-wise, Lewis and Jenson are usually good at this stuff!
That Ferrari-Shell ad, oh my God.... I can't believe they released it - this was the best they got out of it?
oh dear... The Ferarri Ad looks like a schoolproject of 14year olds made with a VHS-Camera in 1992

I think there is a youtube (or was) of Hamilton and his father repairing a cart during a race day meeting - could have been Blue Peter program or something similar

Yeah, that would have been the cream on top!
Nonetheless, excellent little movie, both come across very sympathetic. Good viral campaigning.
And: how beautiful that 2008 McLaren was compared to the cars they have to run in now...

slight techinical issue there! Anyway this thread is for all TV ads related to F1 drivers/themes...saw the vodafone thread with the Lewis/Jenson ad and thought it would be a great to start this.
I'll kick it off - from 1988 a Shell commercial. Nice bit of nostalgia.

Just a slight off-topic, But in closer inspection I noticed Jenson wearing Reeboks, Lewis's personal sponsor.
Maybe noting in it, but some also mention JB switching from Bell helmets to Arai witch is what Lewis wears.
