Lots of dirt and grime had accumulated on that old Coop over the past 19 years, so we gave it a fresh look for Pebble Beach, but it took 3 full days!
No trailer queen, she's got bumps and nicks and that's how we like 'er.
The bad news is that the engine is stuck, probably got some water in it while sitting and no time to repair, so it will be a static display.

Looks spotless to me! But photos do flatter a bit (unless they're passport photos).
Shame about the engine, I guess that's the next job.

Lovely stuff! Can I have a go next time you run her?

Gary, as soon as the engine is repaired, meaning as soon as I can convert some of my tin toys into cash to do so!
The damned thing has leaked coolant into a cylinder and rusted the rings, I am pretty sure.
At least she will shine, but what a disappointment. It never did that before in 19 years of a lot of use...
Maybe I will O-ring the whole head and forget the damned head gasket this time.

Well, that's no good then. Say, is this the car I saw at the Petersen in about 2005?

I had loaned it to the Petersen for an Indy exhibit they had then.
