As part of the "chase Porsche " strategy Lotus ( the Proton owned car company) ar bulding 25 single seater cars with an F1 engine for track days

Anybody know how many "F1 lookalike" series there are now ( GP1, GP2, Formula Renault, Louts etc etc)!

To be honest I am surprised no one has done it and I always thought Williams would being the clever dick Frank is.

You only have to look at the trade of old F1 cars to see theres a market for it.

Why hasn't someone bought that job lot of A1GP cars and sold them off as track day cars? Ready made, with Ferrari engines - ideal!

Anyone know how much a top level sprint or hillclimb car costs?

Aren't those cars running in Italy as some sort of national series now? I know they had the older Lola/Zyteks but I think they have the Ferraris now as well...

Track day cars? Shoot, I was hoping I could bungee-cord my cooler and camera bag to the rear wing and drive this car when I go out and take pictures of freight trains... :well:
