Nico's left hand looks a bit... erm, worn? Too much dish-washing without the gloves on?

Wasn't 'Brtiney' Webber's pet name for Rosberg when the two were together at Williams?

Yeah. There's a story that during a race in 05 or 06, whenever it was when Rosberg and Webber were team mates at Williams, early in a race both drivers damaged their cars and were both going to pit on the same lap. But Webber was pushing Rosberg, trying to pass him so he can pit first, which then led to Rosberg crashing because he was driving faster than he should have (in his damaged car) in order to keep Webber behind him. A call came over the radio telling Webber that Rosberg had track position and was pitting first. Then Webber replied, "Not any more, mate, Britney's in the wall."

So from that radio transmission, word is that the nickname of Britney then spread among the teams in the paddock and it stuck. Obviously Webber was taking the piss out of him for being a GQ kind of metrosexual guy who had a strong resemblance to Britney Spears.

Actually leads to the question of nicknames, good or bad, of drivers and other F1 characters. I wonder how many nicknames there are out there? I'm not familiar with any, to be honest, except for Nico "Britney" Rosberg.

Actually it was the other way around, Mark was ahead going back to the pits, Williams saw the replay of the accident and saw Mark had rear end damage whereas Nico just needed a new nose so they gave the call that Nico had pit priority. Mark wouldn't hear anything of it, when Rosberg was trying to pass him Mark pushed him wide, Rosberg gathered some dust on his tyres+no front wing+urgency to pit first= he went off. Williams hadn't seen Rosberg go off so they went back on the horn with Pit Priority Rosberg and Mark came back with the britney line

Maybe there should be a poll for women users here, so we know, who they consider as attractive in current field... But, if I were a one, Rosberg would definitely not win... I think, there are at least 5 more handsome guys, it is just a matter of taste...

Ah, right. Thanks for the correction on that.

Does anyone know which race it actually was? For some reason I'm thinking Malaysia, but I could well be wrong.

Brazil 06.

There was also another thing with Webber, an interview in F1 racing from 08 i think, he had to pick names out of a hat and give one word to describe them so Kubica comes out and he says "quality", Raikkonen "fast", Alonso "tidy" etc than Rosberg comes out and the way it was written in the mag he paused and then replied "pretty"

It's great to see these guys having some fun rather than banging each other with purses! Kind of refreshing to see some good joking amongst competitors.

Come to think of it, Schumi was free for a couple of hours yesterday evening!

EDIT pic fixed, although thanks to the poster who gave the working link. Don't know how it randomly stopped working, though?

Irrelevant side point but Berger had played the exact same practical joke on Senna way back when. Except Berger's choice of photo was alot more ahem risque than BritBrit. Senna was stopped at passport control someplace.

Well more than 'not that beautiful' I guess. Geert Wilders is wrong in every way..
Nico looks like a girl, a bit, actually it's a very childish thing to say and who say's he's beautiful? He's just another German driver.

Senna was always doing stuff like that to Berger, including chucking his briefcase (his precioussss briefcase that he was obsessive about) out of a Helicopter.

Interesting to hear that Webbo was as nice to his young team mate when he was at Williams as he has been at Red Bull...

Sometimes I wonder how many would consider this such a funny burn-slash-brutal diss if they realized that not only is Rosberg in on the joke, he has done his bit to spread it. ;)

It's reasons like the incidents given above that make me glad that Webber choked it, and lost the WDC. He reminds me of a petulant teenager. Pushing your teammate into a wall, despite your team saying that he had proirity. I bet Webber said that Williams gave Rosberg more 'emotional' support there too. He is a bolshy bloke, and I hope he begins to realise that he is just not as talented as much of the rest of the grid. Hope he enjoys his role as support driver to Vettel next year.

No. i've built up this impression by watching his career for the last ten years. Knocking your teammate into the wall because you have been told to let him through is just immature. The defending move he pulled in singapore should have recieved a penalty, IMO. He blamed Heiki in Valencia for basically being there. I don't like Webber, and I think that his time in F1 is coming to an end.

Even if this is about Rosberg, I say something quick.

The move in Singapore was simply a racing incident and yes he did say Heikki let off there but he wasn't blaming him, he said it was his fault as well. He has judging by his speed and fitness a lot of time left in F1, I don't see why you hate him though.

Also Why did he cut his hair

WHY!!!
