I dont know if anybody will remember my friend Rex, he raced alongside me in the 70's for J W Groombridge on TZ 250 and also on Ducati 350, he then turned to classic racing on 250 Ducati in the 90's.
Sadly he passed away on Sunday after suffering cancer of the oesophagus for some 6 months, I saw him last Thursday but after returning from Cadwell he had sadly left us, he was a true gent and was so very dignified right to the end.

RIP Rex

I remember Rex, nice bloke. An abiding memory is of him and you tearing around Lydden to clear the dust from the track in that Morris 1000 van before the clubmans round in about 1976.

Thanks guys, yes Robin I remember "flying" round Lydden in the old Morris 1000, on 3 wheels most of the time!
