Gold medal went to the in-form Carlito who picks up his 2nd gold with a score of 737pts. He climbs 9 places in the process and goes joint 2nd in the medal table while going top of the form guide. He has now jumped 14 places in the past 2 GP's and is sitting in the top 20. His gold came thanks to Alonso, Alguersuari, Ferrari constructor & STR engine.
Silver went to .... BOF (me!!). My first medal of the competition and 713pts after Vettel came back to something like form. Alguersuari's climb through the field from the back also contributing massively. A climb of 8 places was the biggest boost though and I find myself in 3rd place with 4 races to go !!
Bronze went to DPM. His first medal with a score of 680pts also abetted by Vettel & Alguersuari.
The highest climber apart from Carlito's 9 and my 8 was Jomaizta climbing 7 places 37th after Alonso & Alguersuari (as a D4) helped him towards a 657pts haul. lp_villa830 climbed 6 places into 30th after some solid work from Button, Sutil & the Williams engine.
August picked up good points and continues to power towards what looks to be an inevitable victory. yicm finds himself back in 2nd place after Anderis was let down by poor performances from both Kobayashi & Buemi.
Apex's Winning Combination dropped from 9th to 16th after none of his drivers covered themselves in glory. Not least Hamilton who has slipped up twice in a row now. But the biggest faller was CoyoteBR who dropped 8 places with only Michael Schumacher doing anything of note for him; and even he wasn't great.
