Could any of you chaps help with this one? i've just had a discussion with a mate of mine who has a complete original TD2B motor sitting in his garage, I know its genuine because I actually rode the bike which it came from during the 1970's.

it's not been pulled apart since 1978 at which point it had a crank rebuild and then did about 200 miles but since then has been stored in dry conditions.

The question is what is it worth? he fancies selling it to help towards a restoration project on a TD1C.

I've seen all sorts of silly prices in classic bike mags for aircooled Yam's over the past couple of years and really have no idea what this motor would be worth so any clues would be appreciated.
