To think Williams need to change their line-up for extra income...

Finally, Hülkenberg showed the REAL HULK that we have seen in the GP2 and A1GP. He handled the pressure very well, and gave a headache for Sir Frank. Now do they really want to swap Nico to a Maldonado?

I think that could be the performance that ends Barrichello's career.

So Hulk maybe out next year and Senna in a better seat than this year.

Sometimes this sport is a joke.

Everyone is on a dry set-up in expectation of a dry race tomorrow. Hulkenberg just got the temperature in the tyres.

Congrats to Hulk.

Alonso: "Its going to be interesting how my rivals fight up ahead", "Happy ending: just finishing ahead of Webber".

Timing was excellent but that lap was amazing. He was only 10-20 seconds behind Alonso on the road, that is not at all worth 1.5 sec. Hulkenberg just was amazing on the slicks.

Brilliant pole from Hulkenberg.  Smashed them all!!

Anyone know whether there's a clean verses dirty side advantage on this grid?

They are all on dry setups...

Might be interesting to check top speeds, Hulk is probably among slowest there...that extra downforce will hurt him badly in the race IMHO

Please can we have a nice turn 1 dispute between Alo and Ham!!

Or Vettel and Webber?

Brillant session, just brilliant.
Delighted for Williams and for Hulkenburg, they have a big part to play in what happens tomorrow at least in the early part.
Button also is actually in a good position to help Hamilton, starting on the harder tyre.

Lap 1 will be very interesting!

I thought Alonso would have nailed him but nope, he somehow blasted everyone else. They were all on fumes on option slicks, maybe Hulk had the tyres warmed up better than everyone else, but it's just stunning really!

Just watched the on-board lap, Hulk was so easy, it's simply incredible. I noticed that Rubens' smile wasn't genuine.
And well done to the Williams team, it's their first pole position since 2005 Nürburgring.

Alonso being 5th increases the chances of contact with one of his rivals.

HULK
Massa once again

It should be interesting tomorrow. The best outcome would be Vettel first, Webber second or Hamilton and Alonso fifth. Abu-Dhabi would be super interesting.

I have a feeling his race pace will be disastrous. Driving on slicks on a wet track is where you need tyre temps, he could cook them tommorow.

InsideFerrari Session finished with Fernando 5th and Felipe 9th. It is a pity because a mistake in the last lap cost Fernandoo a place in the top three

Costly mistake...

Simply unbelievable.

It's one of those moments that just makes you fall in love with the sport all over again.

Hulkenberg just sent a MASSIVE statement through the F1 paddock.

Let's be serious, he just went 1 SECOND quicker than Vettel in a Red Bull.

I can't stop smiling!
