And officially the stupiest team in F1 history.
There is still one race left!
Congrats anyway to Red Bull- a brilliant car that deserves the WCC.

RedBull prefers no champion rather than Webber as champion, that is clear.
Backmarkers did a terrible job letting people past. Absolutely terrible. Massa even passed Rosberg even though he was one lap behind.

RedBull very capable of a 1-2 in Abu Dhabi... then if necc. they will switch the top 2 drivers. So its still dodgy for Alonso...
Hamilton had a so-so race but somehow hangs in there....it will be ridiculously funny if something crazy happens next week n he wins the WDC.
Congrats to RedBull for the WCC, the car deserves it I guess

There should be penalties all round for the drivers who held up Webber, Alonso and Hamilton after the safety car. Massa was the ONLY guy who seemingly didn't, kudos to him.
Great drives from the top guys, Vettel looked in control all the way. Next week will be a barnstormer!
The backmarkers were terrible today.

Red Bull is the dumbest team in the history of F1.

Yes, the front wing issue was very sportmanship. And I didnt see Kimi's fan complaining about lack of sportmanship when Massa gave his position to Kimi ;)
That's named "hypocrisy"
-----------
Nice race for Alonso, and Jaime that once again beat his team mate.

What has the world come to if the general view is that Red Bull Racing are stupid by not using team orders?
They play fair and somehow that's not the way it should be?
Red Bull Racing
Indeed, but as I've already said in the other topic, should the positions be the same in the final race I have no doubt they will switch Vettel and Webber.

They still have the team order option for the last race, if they are on No.1 + No.2 and Alosno is third or fourth. Better then, than today, just in case Alonso´s engine blows in the last race and Vettel wins it.

While Rosberg was waiting for someone up front to make a room to pass by, there comes Massa and overtakes him...under blue flags, of course!

If Alonso comes the 3rd, he will still be crowned by 1 point.

I wonder why he couldn't find extra second per lap like yesterday?
Then safety car with lapped cars - Webber unable to put pressure on Vettel. I wonder what happened to Webber's engine? Whatever it was it magically disappeared three laps from the finish.

Overall boring race. Hulkenberg ruined the race instead of making it interesting since he first separated the RedBulls from the rest, and then separated Alonso from Hamilton.
Hulkenberg was fighting for position... unlike the backmarkers after the safety car period.

Incredible.. they cost Lewis 17sindeed those backmarkers were ridiculous, idiots
The advantage from the fresh tyres was gone.

One word: "Sportmanship". Sorry guys, don´t know italian or spanish well enough to translate..
I think the word you're looking for is "deportividad".
I can't wait to see the liters of bile spitted after Alonso wins the WDC.

Until the last lap no one can predict the final result. Alonso might retire on the last lap. No one knows. That's why you have to play fair.

Yeah, they took the correct decision. Two fully motivated drivers into the final race.

RBR for not calling team orders which are illegal and IMO against the sports spirit
Vettel
Webber

Posted 07 November 2010 - 17:54
The decision not to implement team orders will probably cost them the WDC.
Can anyone honestly say that if the positions had been reversed (I.e. Webber leading the race, Vettel ahead in the championship), team orders would not have come into play?
2nd place in abu dhabi wins alonso the title now.
Fernando will be delighted.

I agree essentially - the only time I'd expect Vettel to pull over is if he was directly blocking his team mate from winning the title with no shot at it himself. If Vettel had swapped today you'd have just as many people bitching about it, probably some of the same people criticising Red Bull for being stupid.

Elaborate please?
Kimi wasn't handed his win in Brazil '07 by Massa, while I can hardly recall any assist to Hamilton by his teammates.

I have always hated team-orders when both drivers still are in contention and if Webber should win the title, he should do so on his own, especially since Vettel still can, as well. *I will write this again.
Red Bull is the dumbest team in the history of F1.
