Indeed. Johnnie Walker. hence the "walking" reference. I'm surprised at such a photo shoot for a director of one of their lesser (AFIAK) sponsors.... I mean involving the drivers etc.. do they really know or care for this man?

All VIP guests, every race, get photographed with the drivers. That's what you get for $5,000 a ticket.

Not really. If you're a Paddock Club guest with a team sponsor you might see a driver if they come to give a Q&A Sunday morning, but the level of treatment this guy is getting is saved for senior executives at big sponsors. Don't forget Diageo were pretty much their main sponsor in 2006.
