I have recently obtained the Czech book "Závod Do Vrchu Zbraslav Jíloviště" by Karel Řepa. I was interested to note that in 1924 a number of drivers (Caracciola, Čeněk, Österreicher) were given a penalty of 3% to their times. However, I cannot decipher the exact reason for this, other than it had something to do with the bodywork of the car. The literal translations offered by translation websites do not help.
Can any Czech speakers on this forum help?
The text is as follows:-
Name of appropriate driver and car ... "dosáhl skutečného času 3:50,7 a dle propozic byl penalizován + 3% za použití dvoumístné karosérie, ostatní přihlášení nestartovali."
Thanks in anticipation.

This drivers was given a penalty of 3% to their times for the use of two-seated cars. They participated in touring car class (automobily cestovni).
Ostatni prihlaseni nestartovali - the other nominated did not start.
