I have a friend that is restoring a Mini Cooper S and he is trying to identify a sticker that was on the car during the Bathurst 500 race in 1969.

Hi Catalina;
Might be wrong but it looks like the old Waggott Engineering logo.
Would be sure it is not Lynx Engineering.
Long time ago.
Cheers.
Roger.

I thought it may have been Waggott or Watson Cams but looking at the RCN's from the period and they both have different looking logos.

I wonder if it may be a car club?

Could it be an Iskenderian Cams sticker? Has anyone seen a similar sticker from them?

Unlikely, seeing as cams had to be standard...

Any discussion with Les Grose?

I'll know it as soon as somebody remembers. I'm sure the background is yellow.

Yeah, I thought the Isky sticker was unlikely.

The owner has been in touch with Les Grose and he can't recall what it was.

Hi CP

My first post here. I was looking through all these old items and came across this one. Did this project ever get finished and was the 'mystery' solved?

I have a 'Jet Red' Mk2 and was going to prepare a 'tribute/replica' of the 28C Grose/Moore car for an event next year. Only recently i became aware of the original car 'possibly' back with Les?

If both cars (and owners ) are still about I may look at a different 'tribute' car since they may be going to the same event at Bathurst.

Any help would be appreciated. Have you the complete (not cropped) photo available to display here or send? Thanks
